Montana and a walk down Memory Lane

Since Utah is awesome and gives us an extra Holiday we decided to head to Montana and visit my brother and his family for the Holiday weekend. My parents bought their dream house a little outside of Missoula and my brother is staying there until my parents are able to move out there. It was our first time seeing their new place! I have to admit I wasn't totally excited about my parents moving to Montana because the few times that I have been there it's been freezing and snowy and I'd really miss going home to Virginia. But, we were actually pleasantly surprised and now I think it wouldn't all that bad to end up there.

The view from my parent's driveway- A guy starting to build a ski resort there until people in the community fought it so now they have a mountain with carved out slopes. They have an Elk reserve next to them and yes we did see some. They are surrounded by beautiful hills and mountains... Not to shabby, eh?

We took bike rides....

We laughed at played with cousins...(sorry Missy, Simon is wearing that pink shirt you just love so much)

We visited family...

We hung out on the trampoline...

Closed eyes and creepy neck...nice. We make a cute couple, huh?

We played at the park with cousins...or if you're Drake, you enjoyed eating wood chips and throwing them on your head.

We rode the fastest carousal in the west...

We walked around the town...and visited cute stores

we went to a fun children's museum...

Who knew there was so much to do in Missoula Montana?!

Then on our drive home we stayed in good old Rexburg, Idaho and took a little walk down memory lane. For those who don't know, Brett and I met in Rexburg. So much has changed, but I guess it has been about 3 1/2 years since we've visited.

Looks like the dress code has changed a little too. And we thought they were strict when we went there!!

being back in Rexburg made us reminisce about the college... here's a little glimpse into our Rexburg days...
