I turned 26! To celebrate a few of my amazing neighborhood friends threw together a little birthday lunch! So my sweet husband came home from work to watch a sick Drake ...who sadly ended up getting double ear infections on my birthday (yup, the tubes have fallen out and the ear infections are back for vengeance). But thanks to my husband I was still able to have a nice afternoon with the girls.
Then one of my best friends Jessie came down from Salt Lake to visit. Never a dull moment with this girl! And I'm pretty sure Drake has a little crush on her! He follows her around while he repeats her name and is always trying to hold her hand or sit with her. At least he has good taste.
So after all of that I still had a little birthday party with some of our closes friends. A friend and I share a birthday so his wife made Texas Sheet Cake (which is tradition in our family) and we ordered pizza, and we talked, and the kids played, and we had a fabulous time with good friends!
Everyone singing to us - which is my least favorite part about my birthday. Brett knows I hate when people sing Happy Birthday to me which is why he makes sure it happens every year. Although...I admit it was a little less awkward/annoying sharing this moment with a friend. FYI- I did not have another baby...that adorable baby I'm holding is my friends.
Drake looks like he's trying to get away, but he's actually waving and saying hi to Brett who is taking the picture. He had so much fun with all his little friends!

I am actually closer to 30 than I am to 20. I am technically in my late 20's now. Crazy. Oh well... 26 feels good. Life is good!
