It's official, we're boring. Valentines day was spent at home, with the baby, with take out, and probably a movie or Big Bang Theory or maybe even Glee... I can't entirely remember (Brett can't remember either so it's not just me). Oh well the take out was delicious and I love spending time with my boys so it was pretty perfect.
Drake and I actually made sugar cookies for Brett. Drake just thought it was play dough and kept trying to roll it up and make snowmen out of it.
This picture is part of Brett's little present...I think our kid's pretty awesome.
Then the week after Valentines Day we actually got some snow. Of course I bought Drake snow boots a while ago thinking we were in for a snowy winter, but I was wrong. Since we haven't had snow and I refuse to let the snow boots go unused I have now become that mom that dresses her kid up in snow boots on sunny clear days. Yup, he wears them to the store and to play groups, not just outside. Drake loves them and I love to watch him try and walk in them so it's all good. Okay, we got a chance to wear our boots in the snow... now bring on the Spring! I'm pretty excited for this summer. Swimming and parks are in our near future!
And Brett's mom came to visit! Drake loves his grandparents! Pretty much love the expression he's giving me in this picture. He HATES my camera!
