When in Vegas...

So, Brett and I decided that we needed a vacation because we realized that we hadn't gone on a trip with just the two of us since our honeymoon. Last minute, we decided to go to Vegas and called Brett's dad to see if he had any points left on his timeshare. Luckily he did and we were able to stay at an awesome hotel right on the strip. The hotel room was great! We also thought it was fun that the pool and spa were on the roof!

The first night, we decided to hit up the Stratosphere rollar coaster at the top of the Seattle needle. The ride shoots you up and then drops you while it overlooks that entire city. Brett and and I decided the ride would be best at night so we can see all the lights. It was the craziest ride I've ever been on and so worth the money! Though I would recommend riding the bus since the Stratosphere is located at the opposite end of the strip. We walked the whole thing and I thought I was going to die; my legs were giving out and we were soaking wet with sweat.

The next morning we got talked into attending a meeting for a time share because we would receive free gifts. We had no idea that we would be sitting there with a representative for 3 hours while she tried to convince us that we needed a time share. When she realized that we weren't caving, she called over two other people to try and work us over. They actually started to get mean, but we didn't budge and received a fun package of free things. We were able to take a free boat ride at the Venetian Hotel, eat at a nice restaurant, go to the wax museum, and pick a free 3 day stay at a location of our choice!! Even though the meeting was beyond annoying...it was so worth it! We even met Paula Abdul's dad who was staying in our hotel and heard the scoop about whether or not she will be doing American Idol next year (her contract ended and is trying to get more money). Trying to help out tiger Woods Brett is such a nerd Believe it or not..George asked me to marry him and I said "YES!"

It seemed like he improvised the whole show, which made it even funnier because he called on people in the audience and made fun of them. We were pleasently surprised how small the auditorium was where he did the show because we had amazing seats!
Sadly, the trip had to come to an end... and we had to get back to reality.
